Using her potter's wheel and pieces of broken, discarded pottery, Master Potter Jane Knight led participants in the LifeHouse Spring Spiritual Growth Retreat on a journey showing the various ways that working with clay relates to how God shapes us spiritually.
Participants worked with clay to experience how God can mold a substance into an object or idea, and also made designs with pieces of broken pottery as way to give their brokenness to God.
Knight asked each particpant to put stamp a fingerprint into asmall lump of clay. Then she took all of small pieces, squeezed them into one and made a bowl for LifeHouse representing the community of the retreat. Pictures of the retreat can be founding the Photo Gallery section of the website.
